This work, produced for a 2002 exhibition at the Zemicon Gallery in Barbados, attempted to dissect my personal histories. Family background, personal anecdotes and educational experiences were the primary subjects of the study. The rabbit, a childhood toy, became a symbol for an earlier self. The word ‘Machine’ was used to label Barbados as a social space and similarly to refer to myself as a ‘manufacturer’.
